HOW'S YOUR ALIGNMENT?
Mental Tip:
On the course, golfers must have the confidence of a champion. But off the course, champions must remember that they are not more important than anyone else.
Playing Tip:
Proper aim and alignment come from good habits. You have to learn to establish your target line and use it to aim your club and align your body. Aiming the body is more difficult than aiming the clubface. Instead of trying to visualize your target line while standing over the ball, stand behind the ball and visualize a path parallel to that of your target. Use this path to square the clubface towards the target to help ensure that your shot will be online.
Rules Tip:
Be sure to repair and replace all divots left from the ball hitting the surface of the green. Maintaining the shape of the golf course will help keep the course looking good and is also courteous to those playing the coures behind you.
