DAVE'S HITTING PHILOSOPHY

My philosophy on hitting practice is that the batter must be able to hit pitches throughout the strike zone. Therefore, I have set our Armed Machines to move the ball around and mix it up. You will see pitches on both sides of the plate, up, down and some high and low just out of the zone. There are even some "heaters" that will come faster! Just as in your game, the ump may have his own definition of the strike zone or the hit and run may be on. You will be prepared. The three slowest baseball machines(which pitch a soft baseball that was manufactured for Tower Tee) are set for consistent over the plate.

You can experience the satisfaction of teaching yourself or your child to hit like sluggers - we have been doing it here for four decades. The batting range is 120' deep with a 58' net. Thirteen (13) machines are at your service and I promise to keep them loaded for you!

WE'RE GOING TO THE SHOW!
Date: March 2, 2009

Dad and I have been waiting for this call and it came this morning! Tomorrow we go to the Major Leagues. That's right - Busch Stadium, home of the St. Louis Baseball Cardinals. It seems that they want us to work on their pitching machines. We've made it to the Big Show!! For you that means, not only do you practice on the same pitching machines as the Cardinals, but you ahve the same mechanics. Hopefully we can stay for more than just a cup of coffee....

Dave
